Broker License - Mutual Recognition-Broker License Application Requirements (Non-Florida Residents)
Applies to non-Florida resident brokers who obtained a license equivalent to Florida broker license from one of 8 states with which Florida has mutual
agreement: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
AGE: Must be at least 18 years of age.
SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER: You must have a United States Social Security number to apply.
REQUIREMENTS: Florida has mutual agreements with 8 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, Nebraska and
Oklahoma.
CERTIFICATION OF LICENSE HISTORY: A current certification of license history from the state you are claiming mutual agreement is required. The
history must contain your initial license exam type, current license status, disciplinary information, and how many active months within the preceding five years.
EXAMINATIONS: The examination is given by Pearson VUE
FEE: The $105 application fee will be paid directly to Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
FINGERPRINTS: Must have a background check as part of the licensing process.
